Day 1: Tuesday, February 14, 2023
The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens | Chase Administration Building
8:00am – 12:45pm | Visit The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens – Come early for complimentary entry, parking, giraffe feeding, carousel and This Is How We Zoo It Tour. Enter through the Chase Administration Building to pick up your badge that will allow you to enjoy your morning.
12:00pm – 1:00pm | Energy Boost! Chase Administration building. Our hospitality host SSA will have sandwiches and snacks waiting for you to enjoy before the meetings begin.
1:00pm – 5:00pm | Membership and CRM-focused sessions held at The Living Desert – hear from experts at Gateway and best practices from Luis Almonte of Discovery Cube
5:00pm | Sessions adjourn – evening on your own – look for an email from The Living Desert to share some of their favorite options for dining and entertainment

Some attendees have had luck with rooms at The Miramonte Indian Wells located just across the street. Hotels in the area of Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, or Indian Wells are all within a close proximity to The Living Desert or the hotel meeting location.

Driving from Palm Springs airport or by Lyft, Uber or taxi; Provide them your hotel or The Living Desert destination:

Self-Parking rate is $8.00 for daytime event or $18 overnight

Driving to Renaissance Esmeralda: From I-10, take Monterey Exit 131 and turn right onto Monterey Avenue for 5.9 miles. (DO NOT take Cook Street Exit #134; as there are construction delays). Turn left onto Highway 111 (CA-111) for 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Indian Wells Ln for 89 feet and turn right into property.
Driving to The Living Desert from Renaissance Esmeralda: Turn right onto Highway 111 for 2.52 miles. Turn left onto Portola Avenue for 1.57 miles. Turn left into the park. First day: Take second “left”. We will be meeting in the Chase Administration building on the right. Second day, evening event, go straight and park anywhere, as we will be entering through the Admission gates.

Conference Session Locations:
- Tuesday, February 14th – The Living Desert, Chase Administration Building. Open 8:00-12:00pm for a free visit to the zoo. Light snack available at 12:00pm with meeting at 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Dinner is on your own.
- Wednesday, February 15th – Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa Indian Wells. Meeting and meals are on the lower level down the round stairs. Meeting room in Crystal I. Breakfast and lunch are in Stir across the lower level from the meeting rooms.
- Wednesday, February 15th – The evening reception will be at The Living Desert 5:30-7:30pm.
