Zoos South Australia Selects Galaxy Product Suite for Ticketing Solution

Gilbertsville, PA (December 2, 2015) – When Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) undertook the massive project to consolidate its on-site and online ticketing and access systems across its leisure parks, they kicked off a year-long process to find the right solution. The result was their recent selection of Gateway Ticketing Systems to provide its unified solution at four of CDA’s leisure parks: Walibi Holland, Walibi Belgium, Aqualibi Belgium and Bellewaerde in Belgium.
Collectively, the four parks welcome almost 3 million visitors a year. “CDA needed a unified solution that combines all their revenue streams from front gate and group sales to B2B/B2B2C trade partners and online sales, and can accommodate tens of thousands of guests per hour,” says Steve Bell, Business Solutions Architect with Gateway. “Our Galaxy® system thrives in this type of high-paced environment.”
The CDA locations will be implementing the Galaxy® Product Suite including ticketing, access control, group sales, season pass and e-commerce solutions. “We needed to partner with a stable company to support us for the long haul who also provides a reliable and innovative solution that can handle our high volume and complexity,” says Philippe Lagrace, CDA’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “Gateway excels in both these areas as well as gives us that unified solution we need to drive our business forward.”

Gateway’s partnership with CDA will enable standardization across installations, thus creating efficiencies, enhancing enterprise reporting and improving ways they can accommodate their guests. Another plus of the Galaxy® system is its offline capabilities, ensuring venues can continue selling tickets, generating revenue and admitting guests, even during an event such as a network failure.
