Galaxy Connect Unveiled to European Market

Gilbertsville, Pa. (May 6, 2016) – Revolutionizing the way attraction suppliers connect with third-party distributors, Gateway Ticketing Systems introduced its new Galaxy Connect™ cloud-based platform to attendees of its European User Group Meeting held May 4-5 in London.

A cloud-based platform that connects attractions with distributors to enable selling of live tickets worldwide, Galaxy Connect eliminates the traditional voucher process widely used throughout the industry. By becoming part of the Galaxy Connect network via a one-time onboarding process, both attractions and distributors are able to provide an enhanced guest experience while at the same time streamlining their operations.

The Galaxy Connect platform provides numerous benefits to all involved: suppliers, distributors and guests including:

  • Eliminating and/or mitigating the manual and time-intensive processes that are inherent in paper voucher handling including exchange, reconciliation and fraud
  • Allowing guests, with live tickets in hand or on their mobile device, to proceed directly to the gate at the attraction and ensuring their admittance to capacity-managed events, a previously challenging facet of the guest experience where if certain timed tickets were sold-out the guest’s expectations were not met
  • Streamlining implementation for attractions and their distributors with a rapid onboarding process that alleviates the technical burden on attractions’ IT teams of having to develop and maintain multiple interfaces
