Gateway Hosts 23rd Annual North American Galaxy User Group Meeting

Gilbertsville, PA (July 31, 2017) – Attractions industry professionals will descend upon Seattle next week for Gateway’s 23rd Annual North American Galaxy User Group Meeting (UGM). The weeklong event will feature 30 sessions with more than 25 customer presentations and featured speakers including guests from Google and the U.S. Travel Association.

Home to 2018 Galaxy User Group MeetingEach day will focus on key conversations including “Planning for Success,” “Being Discoverable,” “Elevating Your On-Site Experience” and “Staying Connected.” This year’s North American Galaxy User Group Meeting also offers numerous highlights including:

  • {connect} nation – a special four-hour presentation and networking event to facilitate conversations between attractions and online travel agencies
  • CRM Basic Training – an in-depth exploration of using customer relationship management to strengthen guest relationships
  • Customer site visits – this year’s hosts, Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium and “WSDOT Marine Division” Washington State Ferries, will provide an insider’s look at their operations
  • The first Galaxy UGM app – developed to facilitate conversations among customers, sponsors and Gateway during UGM
