Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc. Announces Recipients of the Inaugural North America UGM Customer Excellence Awards 2026

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a global provider of ticketing, admission control, and revenue management solutions serving the attractions industry for more than 35 years, is proud to announce awardees for the Inaugural North America UGM Customer Excellence Awards 2026.

We’ve recognized outstanding customers within six categories, each with its specific set of criteria. Choosing recipients was not an easy task, and only served to highlight the high caliber and quality within the Gateway community. 

The Community Champion Award was given to Luis Almonte at Discovery Cube, Vanessa Lewis at Reporting Maven, and Marcus Lopez at SSA who are famous for helping others and always willing to pitch in when needed. 

The Innovation Award went to Mt. Cuba Center and The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens for being creative and searching for new and exciting ways to overcome unexpected challenges.  

The Web Store of the Year Award was presented to Hersheypark and The National Aquarium for their web stores that are the benchmark for others and set the standard of excellence. 

The Implementation of the Year Award recognized Clark Planetarium and Lucky Strike Entertainment Corporation for their new Galaxy implementations or newly implemented features that exceeded expectations and brought about positive change for business. 

The Legacy Award was given to Donna Powell at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, Nicole Meek at Aquarium of the Pacific, and Scott Lyons at Disneyland for being longtime members of the Gateway community and loyal partners who’ve attended many UGMs, organized UGMs, and supported others in the Galaxy community. 

Finally, this year’s Host Appreciation Award was presented to The Phoenix Zoo and OdySea Aquarium for being partners who have gone above and beyond to make the larger Gateway community feel welcomed during UGM and inspired for the future.
