Galaxy Discovery Month 2020

Updated: October 12, 2020 | Share on LinkedIn

In October, we’re hosting Galaxy Discovery Month: a month-long series of sessions designed to give you some of the key presentations we were planning to deliver during UGM 2020. There’s no replacing the in-person learning and networking of our North America User Group Meeting (and we’re not even going to try), but we still wanted to give you Galaxy information that you need as we move into 2021.

Check out the full schedule below and make sure you register to save the times and dates in your calendar. Note: these presentations are in addition to our regularly scheduled #TuesdayTalks and Webinar Wednesdays.

Thursday, October 1, 2020: Galaxy Discovery Month Happy Hour

Time: 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST

It’s October 1, and we would have been in Las Vegas today. So join us for a virtual happy hour to catch up, reconnect, and just enjoy the company we won’t get to see this year at North America UGM. Yes, we know Happy Hour probably never happens at 2:00 PM on a work day (11:00 for the West Coast!). But we also know in the new normal night time is now filled with additional family obligations and catching up on the work you didn’t finish during the day due to virtual schooling, so we figured we’d give this time slot a shot.

Thursday, October 29, 2020: Galaxy Discovery Month Wrap Up Happy Hour and Jam Session

Time: 3:30 – 5:00 PM EST

For those of you who attended Galaxy User Group Meeting 2018 in Philadelphia, one of your most memorable moments might be when Story of a Girl played at Milkboy.

But since we can’t all be together rocking out to 90s covers songs from Gateway’s best musicians this year, we thought it would be fun to wrap up Galaxy Discovery Month with an out of this world live (sort of) concert.

So we need you  to pick up your instrument and make a short video clip (1-2 minutes) playing your song of choice. Then get your mini music video to Mike Marks, mmarks@gatewayticketing.comby Friday, Oct. 16 and he’ll compile them into an epic jam sesh that we can all enjoy during a special Happy Hour on Thursday, Oct 29.  The Happy Hour will take place immediately after our final Galaxy Discover Month session from 3:30 PM EST – 5:00 PM EST.

See what Gateway Ticketing can do for you.
