At this point in the year, many attractions are deep into their reopening phases and have learned one of the difficult lessons of COVID-19 for the attractions space – nothing is definite. As guest sentiment, government regulations and recommendations, and operational best practices continue to change, the attractions that are flexible and have devised Plan A through Plan F are the ones that have successfully reopened.
And so, the journey continues – and we wanted to check in on that journey with three iconic attractions: The Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Monticello in Charlottesville, and Space Center Houston. We heard from these attractions about how reopening has been progressing and how they’ve continually reacted to the changing industry environment while maintaining revenue and a positive guest experience.
